Il tema di questa teca è il vivere sulla lama del rasoio, spingersi sino alla soglia dei propri limiti, semplicemente. Ci sono riferimenti specifici al giocare d'azzardo con la propria esistenza e vivere la vita come mera scommessa con la morte. Sulle scommesse e le puntate che gettiamo sulla nostra esistenza e sulle conseguenze delle scelte che facciamo, da cui derivano le nostre azioni.

I think it's about living life on the edge, simple as that!

It also seems to hold many references to gambling with your life and living life for the pure enjoyment.

 it's all about how we gamble with life and the choices we make, the consequences which follow from our actions.

 L'Asso di Spade è tradizionalmente conosciuto come la Carta della Morte e può, nel contesto appropriato, essere interpretato come il "black spot" dell'Isola del Tesoro ( Robert Louis Stevenson). Al termine della notte questa teca riguarda l'inetavitabilità della morte nella vita umana, specificatamente se si vive in modo molto rischioso. Nella canzone dei Motorhead i riferimenti al gioco d'azzardo sono metafore della durezza della vita, di uno stile di vita da relitto umano; girare in moto, bere, drogarsi, fare rissa, etc...La consapevolezza del fare una brutta fine, di estrarre l' "Asso di picche" ( la carta della Morte), ma è esattamente così che deve essere, morire con ai piedi i propri stivali.

The Ace of Spades has been known in folklore as the death card and can, in the proper context, be seen as equivalent to The Black Spot of Treasure Island fame.

Ultimately, I think this  display case is about the inevitability of death of the human life; most specifically of a risk-taking lifestyle.

The gambling references are a metaphor for a hard-living, wreckless lifestyle; biking, drinking, drugs, fighting, etc. He knows that it will do him in eventually, that he'll eventually be dealt the "Ace of Spades" (the death card,) but that's the way he likes it; die with your boots on and all that.

The lyrics go on to describe a poor loser, that is why he is only playing for the pleasure because he usually loses.

La teca è ispirata dalla canzone dei Motorhead "Ace of spades". Nel collage è inserito il fotogramma del film di Roberto Rossellini "Roma città aperta" (1945), in cui Anna Magnani insegue la camionetta dei soldati tedeschi che portano via il suo uomo: la scena forse più bella del cinema italiano, una delle dieci scene sequenze immortali, iconiche, mitologiche della settima arte: e non poteva essere diversa con una donna come Anna Magnani, che, oltre a eccellente attrice, fu donna di forte e grande carattere. Uno spirito indomabile come Lemmy: la Magnani ha avuto come colonna sonora della sua vita i Motorhead.

The display case is inspired by the Motorhead's song "Ace of Spades". In the college there's a frame from Roberto Rossellini's "Rome, open city" ( 1945), in which Anna Magnani chases the German soldiers' truck that carries away his man: may be one of the most fantastic actions of Italian movies, one among the 10 immortal actions ever shot, an icon, mythological of the 7th art. And it couldn't have been different with a woman like Anna Magnani that, a part from being an excellent actress, was a hard headed woman, of a great temper. An indomitable temper as Lemmy: her life soundtrack is Motorhead music.
