Nelle mie opere la presenza degli animali rappresenta sempre il richiamo ctonio alla natura selvatica e primitiva, oppure l'invito all'autenticità ed all'onestà, o simboleggiano la purezza e la bontà, o hanno la funzione di consolazione e di alleviare le nostre pene. In questo caso sono il monito, lo sbeffeggiamento della nostra civiltà dell'accumulo e del consumo, in cui la parola cooperazione è sostiruita dal termine competizione.
In my works, the presence of the animals always represents the hidden call to our wild and primitive nature, or the call upon us to be authentic and honest, or they symbolize pureness and goodness, or, last but not least, animals have the specific function of consolation and relief from pain.
In this display case they act as a warning, as a mocking at our accumulation and consumption civilization, where the word cooperation is replaced by the word competition.

Ambientata in una discarica, in cui carcasse di auto, oggetti fuori uso,
rottami della civiltà si accumulano a caso. Questo scenario è popolata solo
da primati: un pianeta delle scimmie tra cui, in un omaggio alle scene
iniziali di "2001 Odissea nello spazio" di Stanley Kubrick ( profonda riflessione filosofica sulla natura dell'uomo, sulla sua
evoluzione e sul suo futuro in rapporto con l'universo), una
scimmietta brandisce un osso. Quel gesto segna lo sviluppo,
l'evoluzione/involuzione della nostra specie.
It takes place in a garbage dump, where wrecked cars, out of order machines and civilization's junkers are randomness lumped together . This backdrop is populated by Primates: a planet of apes where, as an homage to Stanley Kubrick's "2001: a space odissey" first scenes, a little monkey waves a bone.
At one stroke, the sign of the development, the evolution/involution of our species.

Lo stilita riesce a individuare l'insidia del male e a
rifiutarla, rafforzato dalla preghiera e da un animo forgiato dall'ascetismo
più severo.Due testimoni sornioni dell'Apocalisse: Pippo che sorridente osserva la scimmia con l'osso e Castorino Operaio reggente un teschio umano, che indica che siamo in presenza di un memento mori.
The stylites can recognise the evil's trap and refuse it, strenghten by the power of prayers and by the most uncompromising ascetism shaped soul. Two sly witnesses of the Apocalypse: a smiling Goofy looking at the monkey wawing the bone and Worker Little Beaver bearing a human skull, revealing us the memento mori.
