Un personaggio michelangiolesco della Cappella Sistina scappa inseguendo Paul Gauguin e si ritrova su un'isola in compagnia di un pappagallo rosso. Era stufo di vedere papi e alti prelati deambulare sotto i suoi occhi, ma con gli anni il rosso è diventato il suo colore preferito.

A character fron Michelangelo in the Sistina Chapel escapes, chasing Paul Gauguin and happens to be on an island along with a red parrot. He was sick and tired to overlook popes and high prelates ambulating under his eyes. But throughout the ages red has become his favourite color.

                                       

Questa teca è esattamente ciò che pensate che sia. Anche i fili di lana, come fasci di luce, come fili dell'alta tensione, come il filo dei pensieri. Connessioni sempre più sottili e fragili tra la natura e l'essere umano, tra l'essere umano e gli altri esseri viventi, attaccati ad un filo.

This display case is exactely what you suppose. Even the woollen threads, as beams, as high tension wires, as the train of thoght. Increasingly thin and  fragile links between Nature and the human being, between the human being and the other living creatures, hanging by a thread.

E se vi venisse un dubbio, il titolo originale del film di John Ford è "Stagecoach" e non "Red shadows"...non vorrei ne foste depistati.
