Questa art box rientra nelle ludoteche, ossia quelle teche create per un'occasione o una persona in particolare: in questo caso è una dedica alle serate passate in compagnia di cari amici tra argomenti seri, chiacchiere e ciarle, aggrottamento di ciglia e risate spensierate.
Ricorda le fredde serate invernali seduti in poltrona fumando la pipa sorseggiando vino rosso sincero, freschi tramonti estivi tra le foglie accompagnati da parole sfiorate dalle bollicine di un fresco spumantino.
Raffinatezza e cultura sono presenti nella teca (il gentiluomo in primo piano, le letture, la scelta dei vini) e vanno a braccetto col più prosaico pane salame e bicchiere di vino. Il pane rappresenta proprio questo circolo di completezza e condivisione: proviene dalla Terra quando il seme è cresciuto sino a divenire spiga, la farina che se ne ricava viene mescolata all'Acqua e poi lasciata lievitare all'Aria, infine si trasforma grazie al suo accogliere il calore del Fuoco. La condivisione del panem, ciò di cui ci si ciba, con gli amici : il convivio.

It reminds me of cold winter evenings spent sitting in an armchair, smoking the pipe while sipping sincere red wine; of breezy summer sunsets in the garden, in the company of words that are lightly touched by a fresh white wine's bubbles.
Refinement and culture are present in this playful case (the gentleman in the front, the books, the choice of wines) and go hand in hand with the more prosaic bread, sausage and glass of wine. The bread is the symbol of this plenitude circle of sharing: it comes from the Earth where the seed grew and became an ear of wheat, the flour is melt with Water and then rises in open Air, and in the end it turns into bread thanks to the power of Fire. This is the sharing of the bread, feeding the others sharing our meal, eating with our friends: the convivio.

cum vivere,
vivere insieme. Nel modo più semplice e immediato la parola
propone un'identità fra l'atto del mangiare e quello del
vivere. E, veramente, poiché il cibo è la sostanza della
vita, ciò che la rende materialmente possibile, esso si
presta più e meglio di ogni altra cosa ad essere assunto
come metafora dell'esistenza. I due livelli - il materiale
e il metaforico - s'intrecciano in modo inestricabile. I

The etymology of the word convivio (meal ) is cum vivere, Latin, live together. In this easy and effective way the word proposes the identity between the act of eating and the act of living. Because food is the substance of life, what makes materially possible, tangible, it is the best metaphor of living. The two levels - the material and the metaphorical one - intertwine inextricabily. The two equation terms - food and life - blur together.
